Alicia and Ricks’s Peppers and Noosa Wedding Photography
Alicia and Rick’s Noosa beachfront wedding photography could not have occurred on a more perfect day. With Alicia getting ready at the Peppers resort, and Rick on Hastings street, we split up and covered the getting ready photos separately. Often Phill goes to the boys and I go to the girls, but we have photographed it both ways and it’s quite interesting how the dynamics change. Alicia was a picture perfect bride, such a genuinely beautiful woman.
These guys get the prize for best wedding kiss too….
The shots of Alicia getting ready are some of my favourites – such a mix of style and barely contained excitement. I’ve seen lacing up a traditional wedding dress bring a few bridesmaids undone – out come the phones and the youtube tutorials. Quite a few wedding dress designers offer their own! The girls on this wedding were lacing like absolute pros. The other tip I have after photographing a fair few brides is to ensure you know how to add the veil, pins – often the hairdresser will do it but sometimes they leave earlier so always ask for a demo…..
These two are childhood sweethearts. Rick spotted Alicia after school one day and literally followed her home on his pushbike. With their two families knowing each other well, the relaxed, honest and fun atmosphere of this wedding was delightful. Rick and Alicia don’t have to say how they feel about each other – it’s all over their faces.
This wedding included a ferry ride for the bridal party, a ferry ride for the guests – to the reception venue at the Noosa Marina. Once again we split up – we shoot the bridal portraits and then Phill covered the boat ride whilst I photographed the guests and the arrival of the happy couple.
